Developing knowledge and skills

Being well prepared for the future is not something that just happens. Some skills have a key role to play in our future success, particularly if we’ve learned them at an early age. Examples include life skills such as working together, presenting and handling money sensibly. And we also need to fully develop basic skills such as reading and writing as early as we can.

That’s why ABN AMRO, as a Partner of the Future, helps children and primary schools – in multiple ways and teaming up with a range of partners. We promote key life skills as well as sports skills through our work with Ajax and Krajicek Foundation, for instance, and help to put the joy into reading by visiting schools. All of this to give children a broad palette so they can paint themselves the future they want to have.
