Every year, hundreds of students take up internships at ABN AMRO throughout the Netherlands. And that’s no coincidence, because during an internship at ABN AMRO you’ll get to know both yourself and the bank better than ever. There’s loads to do, so we could use your help. That’s why we’re looking for enthusiastic, talented students who would like to gain valuable work experience for four to six months. There are two ways to do this:
Work experience internship
If you’re in the third or fourth year of further or higher education (MBO, HBO or University), it’s high time to roll up your sleeves and get to work, whether it’s in the front office, back office or in the thick of the business. Whatever you end up doing and wherever you do it, you’ll be given responsibility right from day one.
Thesis project internship
If you’re attending a university of applied sciences (HBO) or a traditional university, you’ll find that ABN AMRO provides an interesting environment for completing your final-year research project. There’s a huge wealth of data on tap here at the bank. You’ll have the opportunity to gather valuable input from colleagues, customers and contacts. Together with your supervisors, you’ll set the scope of your thesis and find a suitable balance between carrying out research and participating in day-to-day practical experience.
You’re not alone – you’ll get all the coaching you need to make sure that you, your university and ABN AMRO are satisfied with the end result of your internship.
