ABN AMRO’s roots have a history in London going back more than 150 years. London is the principal financial centre in Europe, and one of the leading financial centres in the world. That makes the British capital a major hub for international banking, with all major exchanges, trading houses and brokers being represented. Many foreign banks and law firms have branches and representative offices in London, too. It’s also one of the world’s largest centres for derivatives trading (e.g. commodities trading), clearing and commercial banking services. It’s no coincidence that these are also our key business lines.
