Your job

As an Analyst Processing you stand at the basis of all financial data within ABN AMRO Clearing, so you are responsible for a timely delivery of accurate financial data to all stakeholders involved. This does not mean you just carry out the tasks that are assigned to you; as an Analyst Processing you are able to look at processes and see the bigger picture. What is the desired outcome of an activity? What stakeholders are involved? How can processes be improved (radically) and who do I need to get on board to make it happen? These are some of the questions that we expect Analysts Processing to ask themselves over and over. The processing areas that are covered by the Analysts Processing are ranging from Local balance sheet and profit and loss account, Complete and accurate general ledger, Local financial reports, Revenues and fee invoices, Cost accounting to Payments and ultimately end with reporting the actuals towards ABN AMRO Bank. As an Analyst Processing you will also be in involved in team internal and cross team improvement initiatives and closely work with the Financial Analyst in the team. Within Clearing we're not just performing a task; we are always looking for improvement and continuously learn from our experiences. This means that everyone working at Clearing has an active role in the evolution of processes, both by implementing small improvements and finishing bigger projects.

Your working environment

ABN AMRO Clearing Bank is a global organisation and this is also reflected in the way the Finance function is organised. In this role you will be working on the European administration of Clearing covering the Netherlands, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Brazil. The Accounting, Reporting & Control team is an English speaking team of approximately 11 colleagues with a different backgrounds and experience. Some of the keywords that apply to the team are teamwork, challenge, self-steering and embracing change.

Your profile

ExperienceFor the Accounting, Reporting & Tax team we are looking for a new colleagues preferably with Accounting experience. Most importantly candidates need to have an open mind set towards people, processes and development. Expertise

  • Knowledge of business administration at vocational level (at least HBO or an international equivalent).
  • Knowledge of accounting and reporting (including accounting systems).
  • Knowledge of regulatory/tax reporting
  • Knowledge of custody and clearing is desired
  •  Communication

  • Personal skills to steer on timely and accurate delivery of information by internal and external parties.
  • Personal skills to build and maintain mutual beneficial relationships with employees within ABN AMRO Clearing, including colleagues in cross border entities.
  • Ability to know the details and at the same time identify and communicate the important recorded events that have a significant effect on the P&L - without getting lost.

 Languages

  • English
  • Dutch would be an advantage
