The Commercial Department CF consists of Sales (Business Development Managers), Relationship Management, Asset Management and Commercial Support. The Sales team is responsible for new business development, predominantly via introducers. The Relationship Managers nurture the relationship with existing customers and support the Sales team on new transactions. The Asset Managers are responsible for monitoring the assets in the facilities with customers. The Commercial Support team supports both the Sales team and the Relationship Managers. The Commercial Department is also responsible for KYC activities. 

Your job

To provide comprehensive support to the Relationship and Sales Management teams to ensure that goals and objectives are achieved. Adopting proactive and positive behaviours, co-ordinate and manage the on-boarding process to ensure the take on of new clients in a timely, efficient and risk aware manner. Adopting proactive and positive behaviours, co-ordinate and manage Client facility amendments in a timely, efficient and risk aware manner. Assist with all areas of on-boarding and in life client processes: 

  • Preparation and handling of IOT and final offer letters
  • Credit minute preparation
  • Preparation and handling of client and prospect facility documentation
  • Preparation and handling of introducer contracts
  • Management of client facility amendment process
  • Preparation and handling client facility letters
  • Facility documentation management
  • Enterprise Finance Guarantee loan portfolio management
  • CRM and IFactor set up and management

Our business lines are supported by a number of functions such as Risk, Compliance, Legal, IT, Finance (Including Tax), Business Management and Human Resources. We currently employ approx. 380 individuals in the UK.

Your profile
  • Experience working in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working in Financial Services is desirable but not essential
  • Compentencies to include strong communication skills, ability to work as part of a team.  Be risk aware.  Analytical with a eye for detail.  Adaptable to change and open to continous improvement.  Decisive and autonomous when appropriate.
