Your job

Your challenge is to timely issue the facility letters (contract between the bank and our clients) and the related security documentation in accordance with the approved credit conditions. Your day at the office? You will draft bilateral facility letters and arrange the related security documents in consultation with internal and external legal counsels. You assist account managers with negotiating terms of such documentation, monitoring the receipt of the compliant documents and other conditions precedent, and confirm to the TCF colleagues that all facility document is in place.  The team serves as a center of expertise for security documents used within the bank’s TCF clients' business to ensure consistency and application of best practices that have impact on our clients' business / products worldwide. You will be communicating with the bank’s legal department and external legal counsels, risk managers, mid office, account managers and clients.
You are part of a small international team within the Contracting International Client department. You will report to the Head of Contracting Commodities.

Contracting Commodities is part of the Contracting International Clients and is the center of expertise for the facility and security documentation of the clients of TCF. The team operates under a mandate of Legal,  is committed to TCF and involved in knowledge sharing and education, both within the team as toward TCF colleagues.

The TCF business line offers a full range of banking products, lending and other services, to medium sized and large corporates in the international industrial value chain of commodities (commodity producing-, trading- and consuming companies). TCF Clients is organized along 2 market groups - Agri products and Metals& Energy products - and has offices  word wide (Amsterdam, Hong Kong, New York, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Shanghai).  We are one of the leading commodity finance banks of the world. Your profile

We are looking for a person with good communication skills, who enjoys working in an international and changing environment.  Someone who will be able to build good relationships with our colleagues the TCF and Legal department.

Check your profile:
- Master’s degree (law, finance, economics)
- 4+ years of relevant banking / (syndicated) loan documentation experience in an international environment and understanding of security structures in various jurisdictions Trade and Commodity financing experience
- Organised, accurate and like to work in a demanding and dynamic environment
- Team player, confident, proactive, positive, solution driven
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
