I’m going to use my training budget to discover how to make the most of my qualities.
I love gymnastics and have performed it at a high level since I was a little girl. After various injuries threw a spanner in the works, I decided to study Sports & Wellness at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Sittard. Halfway through my studies, I added another programme: Commercial Economics at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda. It was a pretty big challenge, but I’m proud to say I completed both programmes.
I’ve been working at ABN AMRO since August 2013, so I’m at the beginning of my career. At the Advice & Service Centre in Breda, I help retail customers with questions about payments. I will be taking internal training courses in the coming months and hope to join ABN AMRO Hypotheken Groep in a few years. I’m going to use my training budget to discover how to make the most of my qualities.
A big part of my life revolves around sports. I work out, dance and follow gymnastics closely. I am also the stereotypically exuberant Limburger: I love going out for dinner and cooking for friends. And whenever I’m at a birthday party, one piece of cake is never enough.
My working week is shaped by the customers; you never know how busy it will be or what questions they’ll ask. Some days I’ll talk to eighty people and can help them easily; other days I might need to investigate a reported fraud. That involves collecting information from colleagues, informing customers of the process and linking them up with the right specialist.
