Emerging markets alternative investment fund manager Larrainvial, recently launched with just USD 70 mln assets under management and based in Santiago, Chile, was yesterday voted the first ever winner of ‘The AIF Factor’ by delegates attending the 2nd Amsterdam Investor Forum.

Jointly organised by ABN AMRO Clearing together with ABN AMRO Private Banking’s Alternatives & Funds, the Forum was held at the bank’s head office at Gustav Mahlerlaan and attended by more than 200 Dutch and international institutional investors, funds of funds and high net worth individuals.
6 funds were selected to present 3 minute pitches at the Forum from a total of over 60 entries. This shortlist of funds also included Salus Alpha Commodity Arbitrage, Taler Focus Fund, Foundation Capital, Cube Global Opportunities and Umnyah Long-Short.
