ABN AMRO Equity Brokerage once again earned third place in the Benelux Best Broker category in the leading Thompson Reuters Extel Survey, in addition to winning top position in the Benelux Equity Sales category. This confirms the bank’s position as best distribution platform for listed companies in the Benelux region.

Aside from this first place for Equity Sales, podium prizes were also awarded for Equity Research, Equity Trading/Execution and Corporate Access. ABN AMRO Equity Research was voted the third best team in the Benelux countries, a key category position it also claimed in 2013. This year, we also came third in the rankings for Equity Trading and Corporate Access. Ferdinand Vaandrager, Head of Markets Sales, commented: “We believe that we have what it takes to move up the rankings and we have very clear aspirations: to become Number One in all four categories.”

Not long in the United States

Winning third place is even more special, as ABN AMRO has only been active in the United States for a relatively short time, and success in this region is key if we are to improve our ratings.

World’s biggest

Extel Europe is one of two independent global surveys covering over 16,000 respondents from 75 countries. Over 700,000 individual votes were cast, and in the Benelux category more than 500 professional investors voted for 39 brokers. ABN AMRO Equity Brokerage once again earned third place for best broker in the Benelux region in the leading Thompson Reuters Extel Survey, and claimed top position in the Benelux Equity Sales category. This confirms the bank’s position as best distribution platform for listed companies in the Benelux region.
