This September and October, Ajax is teaming up with ABN AMRO (Partner of the Future) to organise the Ajax Talent Days, during which Ajax will be scouting talented football players in several regions of the Netherlands.
“Every year children who participate in the Ajax Talent Days at Sportcomplex De Toekomst (Dutch for The Future) move on to our youth training. Starting this season, we will offer this event for the youngest football players in several regions of the Netherlands. Our scouts will be there to select the most talented players for the Ajax Talent Programme. During this programme, participants will have the opportunity to prove themselves and to move on to our youth training,” says Wim Jonk, Head of Ajax Youth Training.
Ernst Boekhorst, Manager of Sponsoring & Events at ABN AMRO: “As a Partner of the Future, ABN AMRO wants to help discover and develop talented young people. The Talent Days on location are important because they allow many talented young football players to show the scouts what they can do.”
The first Ajax Talent Day will take place on Wednesday afternoon 16 September. The most talented girls will be invited to participate in a football clinic given by the Ajax Women’s team at Sportcomplex De Toekomst, where they will learn to sharpen their skills.
Starting today, children can register for the event and find out more about the Talent Day in their region at Ajax.nl/talentendagen (Dutch).
