ABN AMRO wins 2017 Bronze Class Sustainability Award

ABN AMRO has been given a spot in RobecoSam's Sustainability yearbook. The bank counts among the highest ranked companies in the financial sector, and received the Bronze Class award because of our outstanding sustainability achievements.

Over the year 2016, ABN AMRO surged up the ranking in the globally respected Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI). The bank scored 87 out of 100 points, which marks an increase of 9 points compared to 2015.

The Bronze Class award puts ABN AMRO into the top 10% of banks worldwide. A total of 256 banks were in scope in RobecoSam's research, and their average score was 61 points.

ABN AMRO aims to be a better bank contributing to a better world, and we want to have a recognised position in sustainability and transparency. In 2015, ABN AMRO translated its sustainability strategy into measurable objectives. The Dow Jones Sustainability Index is our benchmark for sustainability performance.
