Monnei is an app that makes it easier for users to start investing by allowing them to do so in a group, supported by personalised news. ABN AMRO and InvoiceSharing are launching a comprehensive solution to provide SMEs with 24/7 insight into their accounts so they can estimate their working capital needs well in advance. The benefit for entrepreneurs: significantly reduced costs. Today at Finovate Europe 2017 in London, ABN AMRO and InvoiceSharing are introducing the pilot, in which 20 companies will test-run the new solution.
SolarAccess and ABN AMRO have joined forces to help businesses generate sustainable energy on their own roofs. Without any capital outlay being required on their part, businesses can have solar panels installed and either use the green electricity for their own needs or else feed it back into the power grid. With the launch of Apple’s iOS 10, a new and incredibly useful feature has been developed for the Tikkie app. Soon Tikkie users will be able to use Apple’s voice command system Siri to create payment requests, simply by speaking the appropriate commands to Siri. Tikkie is the first Dutch payment app that uses Siri to respond to the user’s voice.
Starting today, ABN AMRO clients can place investment orders and view the status of their investment orders via the bank’s Mobile Banking app. ABN AMRO is the first major Dutch bank to enable clients to make payments, save and invest in a single app.
Tikkie is the first payment app allowing consumers to send payment requests via WhatsApp. The app processes requests through the familiar payment platform iDEAL. Tikkie is an initiative of ABN AMRO, but can be used by clients with a current account at any Dutch bank.
On Monday afternoon, 20 June, ABN AMRO will open the Econic innovation hub in Eindhoven. Fintechs and the bank’s employees will meet each other here in an independent environment to develop and test their ideas together. Day-to-day management of the hub will be carried out by external innovation experts. Econic will start out by developing seven innovations and four participating companies.
