Your working environment

ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance, N.V. (ABF) located in Utrecht and Den Bosch (the Netherlands), is internationally cross border organised and has operating companies in Germany, Belgium, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.  ABF is a specialised business company within ABN AMRO. 

ABF provides Leasing and Commercial Finance/Asset Based Lending solutions to customers in all segments: SME, corporates and large corporates including international clients. In the Netherlands, this is mainly to ABN AMRO clients, in other countries this is mainly to non ABN AMRO clients. In the smaller end of the segments, the focus in on having a digital offering, with standardised and harmonised products and processes. In the larger segments, the focus is on a coverage model, with a modular product offering that allows for bespoke solutions.

The CIOO Technology Services & EUC department consists of a variety of specialists in Information Technology. The span of the department includes ICT Infrastructure and ICT Service Desk roles.

The department operates "Cross Border" to centralise the ICT function of Infrastructure, First & Second line support to the business in a standardised and harmonised approach. This centralisation is not physical as members of the CIOO Technology Services & EUC team are located in multiple offices within NL, UK, DE & FR.

Your job

    • Acting as a Sparring partner for changes performed by the team
    • Proposing changes in line with infrastructure strategy
    • Contributing to the maintenance of life cycle management
    • Delivering future state architectures and roadmaps
    • Helping and supporting management with preparing and maintaining budget
    • Contributing to the definition of global standards.
    • Managing stakeholders across multiple local and International departments.
    • Translating business functional requirements into infrastructure requirements
    • Has significant knowledge of multiple (new) technologies, products, business processes or architecture
    • Creating easy to read and structured documents and visualisations and keeping those up to date
    • Thoroughly understands the security requirements for their domain. Ensures and increases security of their domain. Understands security controls and risk policies and the links this to business value
    • Translating risk policies to architectural guidelines
    • Maintaining (strategic) supplier relationships with one or more suppliers in their own domain
    • Experience with the principles of agile development is highly preferred
    • Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal business hours to support other ICT activities, projects, or countries.
    • Ability and willingness to work and travel internationally

Your profile

  • Higher Level Education
  • Minimum 4 Years’ Experience in a multiuser ICT environment preferably in a Financial organisation.
  • Experience in a complex environment (internal and external stakeholders, different time zones, different cultures)
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Agile working methodologies
  • Knowledge of the different aspects of IT architectures (hardware, middleware, connectivity, security, cloud)
  • Knowledge and experience in architecture implementations and related methods, tools and frameworks (TOGAF and Archimate)
  • Knowledge of trends and new applications in
