Sustainability Report 2011

ABN AMRO’s Sustainability Report for 2011 describes the bank’s sustainability achievements in 2011 and its agenda for the years ahead. The title of the report is ‘A better bank for a better world’.
The report describes how the bank puts the following three principles into practice:

• We put customers’ interests first
• We respond to society’s needs
• We take responsibility in the supply chain, from supplier to customer

In 2008 and 2009, ABN AMRO’s legal predecessors ABN AMRO and Fortis Bank Nederland published sustainability data and performance in their annual reports. The new ABN AMRO will do its sustainability reporting through a range of channels, including the Annual Report and the website.
