Equal opportunities for everyone

ABN AMRO is working to make sure everyone has equal opportunities. We believe everyone should have this right, no matter what their background, faith or preference is. We use our knowledge to help solve social problems. We do this through our services, as an employer, through sponsorship, and through ABN AMRO Foundation. This shows we care about our existing and future clients, our colleagues and people looking for work.

Banking for everyone

Not everyone has the chance to get the same financial products and services. Some people still feel they are not being served properly. ABN AMRO’s Inclusive Banking team looks at the problems that certain client groups, like female entrepreneurs, face. We come up with smart solutions to remove these barriers.

Sponsorship for equal opportunities

To create equal opportunities, we need to take action. That's why we sponsor people, clubs and organisations with ambition. We use money, coaching and our network to help them move forward in sports, art & culture and society. We do this now and for future generations.

ABN AMRO Foundation: equal opportunities for young people

For 20 years, ABN AMRO Foundation has worked to create equal opportunities, helping young people reach their goals and live their dreams. But for some people it is not easy to take part in society. Many children grow up with fewer opportunities due to a lack of money or a small social network. Just because they were born in the wrong place. Starting life with disadvantages often holds people back all their lives. We lose a lot of talent because of this.

At ABN AMRO, you can be yourself

We want everyone to feel seen and valued. That's why we create a culture at ABN AMRO where everyone belongs. We pay special attention to equal opportunities for women, the LGBTQI+ community, people with disabilities, people from different cultural backgrounds, asylum status holders and seniors.

Financial resilience and entrepreneurship

ABN AMRO wants everyone to have equal opportunities. We see that many people are unable to keep up with society. Our colleagues help these people in various ways. One of the ways we do this is through Social Point.
