Annemieke Roobeek was appointed to the Supervisory Board of ABN AMRO Group N.V. on 30 March 2010 and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Fortis Bank (Nederland) N.V. (as per 1 July 2010, merged with ABN AMRO Bank N.V.) on 1 April 2010.

She is currently professor of Strategy and Transformation Management (Universiteit Nyenrode, since 1997). She was previously professor of Technology and Economics (Universiteit Nyenrode), held the Wibaut Chair for Metropolitan Affairs and Urban planning (University of Amsterdam) and professor of Complexities in Corporate Strategy and Public Policy (University of Amsterdam) between 1989 and 2002.

She is also director and owner of MeetingMoreMinds, an inter-company networking organisation to accelerate learning, innovation and professional development among innovative companies.

Another one of her ventures is Open Dialogue B.V., an independent office for conceptual designs of innovative approaches towards strategies for complex matters in public and private settings. Since 1994, she has transformed many companies and non-profit organisations into networking organisations.
