Proposed Supervisory Board of the combined bank
Today nominations to the Supervisory Board of the new combined bank, to be formed by the combination of the state-owned businesses of ABN AMRO and Fortis Bank Nederland, are announced.
The proposed new Supervisory Board will consist of the following people:
- Ir. J.H.M. (Hessel) Lindenbergh (chairman) - former executive board member ING Group
- H.P. (Hans) de Haan RA – former partner Ernst & Young
- Prof. dr. mr. S. (Steven) ten Have - Professor in Strategy and Change Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Partner Ten Have Change Management
- Ir. A. (Bert) Meerstadt MBA - CEO Nederlandse Spoorwegen
- Drs. E.A.J. (Erik) van de Merwe - former CEO Fortis Bank Nederland and CFO Fortis Bank Group
- Mr. M.J. (Marjan) Oudeman MBA - Executive Director Corus Strip Products Division
- Prof. dr. A.J.M. (Annemieke) Roobeek – Professor Strategy and Transformation Management Business Universiteit Nyenrode and Director MeetingMoreMinds
- Mr. P.N. (Peter) Wakkie - Member of the Corporate Executive Board Koninklijke Ahold The new Supervisory Board is subject to approval by the Dutch Central Bank
