ABN AMRO and Mistral have entered into a strategic partnership to explore and develop AI-powered solutions for the bank. The partnership is the first between Mistral and a leading Dutch bank, and reflects both organisations' commitment to European competitiveness, strategic autonomy, and digital resilience.
As organisations with strong European roots, both partners share a commitment to advancing Europe's financial, economic and digital resilience. Through its partnership with Mistral, Europe's fastest-growing Frontier AI lab, ABN AMRO gains access to frontier AI capabilities developed and governed in Europe, reducing dependence on non-European technology providers and supporting the key transitions shaping Europe's future.
The collaboration combines ABN AMRO's deep banking expertise with Mistral's advanced, independent AI capabilities. Together, the partners will develop high-impact AI applications that meet the bank's standards for security, transparency, privacy and regulatory compliance; and that are aligned with European values.
