ABN AMRO appoints Global Head of ECT Clients Natural Resources

ABN AMRO continues to strengthen its leading Energy, Commodities & Transportation (ECT) Clients business with the appointment of Jeroen Westrik as Global Head of ECT Clients Natural Resources. Recently, ABN AMRO announced to expand its ECT Clients activities with natural resources.
Maarten Terlouw, Global Head of ECT Clients, said: ‘We are excited about this development and are confident that, with his previous experience and financial and commercial knowledge and skills, Jeroen will contribute to the successful expansion of our business to include natural resources.’
Jeroen Westrik (42) started his career with ABN AMRO in structured finance in Amsterdam, after which he moved to Houston to head up the Structured Financial Solutions team at Energy and Resources. In the past ten years, Westrik has focused on advising and financing clients in the natural resources sector.
Under the leadership of Westerik, the Natural Resources team will focus on global market leaders in metal and mineral reserve extraction, chemical product manufacturing and the production of construction materials such as cement, asphalt, glass and bricks.
