On October 25, 2012, ABN AMRO Bank NV announced that it had reached agreement on the acquisition of Banco CR2 SA, a small private investment bank in Brazil.
The completion was subject to compliance with the terms and conditions of sale. These conditions are now met. With that, the acquisition of Banco CR2 SA was completed on July 31, 2013.
