ABN AMRO lowers savings interest rates

On 17 July 2019, ABN AMRO will cut interest rates on savings accounts. Clients will be informed accordingly. Rates on its freely accessible Direct Savings Account (Direct Sparen) will be lowered to 0.02% from 0.03%.

The rate reductions are the result of persistent negative interest rates in the money markets and low capital market rates.
