The Management Scope Corporate Impact Index (MSCII) is an initiative of Management Scope in collaboration with the Impact Center Erasmus of Erasmus University Rotterdamand is reassessed every year. The index provides insight into the positive impact of business in the Netherlands by assessing the 100 largest companies in the Netherlands on five pillars: good governance, the relationship with the outside world, sustainability, financial health and good employment practices.

“We are pleased to have achieved the top five position on the Management Scope Corporate Impact Index. ABN AMRO has five million customers in the Netherlands. That automatically offers us the opportunity to have a lot of impact through everything we do, for example in helping our customers in the sustainability transition', responds Tjeerd Krumpelman, Global Head of advisory, reporting & engagement at Group Sustainability ABN AMRO. “With every loan, whether it is a mortgage or a business loan, we want to help our customers in theirtransition to sustainability. It is therefore logical that we have given sustainability a central place in our strategy. I see that we are doing certain things better this year than last year, for example in the field of diversity and inclusion, so Social Impact. At the same time, there is still room for improvement. Particularly in further linking the Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs) with our own KPIs on sustainability. We will pay attention to that in the near future.
