Agreement on sale and leaseback of Neuflize OBC office in Paris

Today, ABN AMRO announces Neuflize OBC has reached an agreement with Primonial REIM on the sale and leaseback of the Neuflize OBC headquarters office ‘One Monceau’ in Paris, France. Neuflize OBC is ABN AMRO’s private bank in France.
The sale is in line with the bank’s ambition to make its own office buildings more sustainable and energy efficient. The leaseback will be short term ahead of a future relocation. Neuflize OBC headquarters will be relocated to a more sustainable office in the centre of Paris in four years time. This office will have improved and modern client and employee facilities in line with current remote working practices.
The sale is expected to result in a book gain of approximately EUR 170 million net of tax in Q3 2020.
