On 1 January, fees for a number of payment services for business clients will increase. ABN AMRO has informed its clients about these changes in the past several weeks.
Not all payment services fees will increase next year.Fees will remain the same for many commonly used services, such as PIN and iDEAL payments, as well as access to Internet Banking.
ABN AMRO wants to offer payment services that are easyto use, secure and have high availability. This requires investments. Fees for many business payment services were last changed in 2008.
The payment services with the highest increase in feesare the ones that involve manual labour, and those that have a good digitalised alternative.
