Equity Capital Markets awards for ABN AMRO

The M&A awards were presented in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam on Thursday 10 December. ABN AMRO won the award for the best Equity Capital Markets (ECM) deal for taking Grandvision public earlier this year, and Chris van Schuppen was chosen best ECM banker of 2015.

ABN AMRO frontrunner in growing M&A market
Last month an by Consultancy.nl showed that the market for mergers and acquisitions in the Benelux region is growing strongly and that ABN AMRO is a frontrunner in this market, both in the number of M&A deals and in terms of deal value in 2015. The M&A awards are organised by Alex van Groningen. The event, which is attended annually by some 900 bankers, lawyers, advisors and investors, was held in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam for the 16th time this year.
