Frans Woelders appointed new Senior Managing Director of ABN AMRO Retail Banking

Frans Woelders (48) has today been appointed Senior Managing Director of ABN AMRO Retail Banking. He was previously the bank’s Chief Information Officer, and before that gained wide experience in various parts of the bank.
Chris Vogelzang, Managing Board member with responsibility for Retail & Private Banking, is pleased with the appointment: "Frans is a highly experienced manager with a broad background. Last year he was declared CIO of the Year for his vision and approach. I am very pleased with his appointment." Frans Woelders succeeds Paulus de Wilt (49) who, at his own request, will pursue his career outside the bank.
