There are various schemes to borrow money for companies that have been impacted by the coronavirus crisis. In addition to the SME Credit Guarantee (Coronavirus Facility) Scheme (“BMKB-C”) scheme, which is already available, the Corporate Finance Guarantee (Coronavirus Facility) Scheme (“GO-C”) will also go live on 29 April. The GO-C carries on where the BMKB-C stops.

Under the BMKB-C scheme, companies suffering under the impact of the coronavirus crisis can take out a state-guaranteed loan of up to 1.5 million euros with their bank. The GO-C scheme covers values from 1.5 to 150 million euros. Depending on the company’s revenue, the Dutch government guarantees 80% or 90% of the loan.
