How ABN AMRO uses customer data

- Products and services
An article featured in De Correspondent links an offer made by ABN AMRO to customers who have recently had a child with previous publicity on the use of customer data by banks.
ABN AMRO emphasises that the bank does not provide or sell customer data to third parties. The bank does not analyse customers’ payment behaviour in order to use this information to promote commercial offers by third parties.
In this case, the offer – a gift certificate to the Prénatal baby store for customers who open a savings account – was made by ABN AMRO to its customers. In doing so, ABN AMRO aimed to make customers a relevant and attractive offer. Customers may state that they no longer wish to receive offers from the bank, in which case ABN AMRO will stop immediately.
ABN AMRO acts in accordance with laws and regulations at all times.
