Seven in ten ABN AMRO employees apply The New Way of Working

Roughly 2.5 years after ABN AMRO started rolling out The New Way of Working, 71 percent of employees now apply it in practice. Almost half of the employees even consider it to be essential to perform their job well, bank research shows.
In 2009, a small group of ABN AMRO employees talked to their managers. They suggested adding more flexibility in terms of their work location and working hours. And so 300 people started a pilot; in 2012 more than 15,000 employees work independent of place and time. Research shows that this ‘new’ way of working at ABN AMRO is valued mainly because of the higher vitality, performance and job satisfaction that come with it.
