Angela has worked at ABN AMRO for over ten years working in both the London and New York offices in varying business management roles, including regulatory implementations. Her extensive experience and solid knowledge of control framework activities and a strong network across ABN AMRO, equip her well for the new role.

The Head of UK Process and Control (P&C) is a new role created to lead a new team across several disciplines. The development of the UK P&C function will support the businesses in the UK Branch with their control activities as well as support all 3 UK branches with overarching activities relating to the control framework, business management, marketing and communication and data management and production. The new P&C function will enable the businesses to predominantly focus on their commercial activities, enabling the teams to further support their clients.

Angela Hutchings, Head of UK Process and Control, said, “I am looking forward to the opportunity to build a new team and be instrumental in the further development of a strong control framework from which we can grow the UK franchise in line with the Bank strategy”.

Gerben Dragt, UK Country Executive, said, “Angela brings in-depth knowledge of both our local UK organisation and processes as well as the ABN AMRO Group. With her appointment, we further strengthen our local Risk Control Framework from a first-line perspective.”
