ABN AMRO is to take part in a pilot project for the ‘Work Prospects Statement’, to enable people with flexible employment contracts to obtain a mortgage.

Applicants with a work prospects statement will be assessed on the basis of their income security rather than job security. We are running the trial in partnership with Obvion Mortgages, the staffing company Randstad and the homeowners’ association Vereniging Eigen Huis.

From today, people on flexible employment contracts can take part in a no-obligation meeting to explore the options. From 1 January 2016, clients can apply for a mortgage if they hold a Work Prospects Statement. Statements will be available for people with flexible employment contracts who have been supplied via Randstad
