ABN AMRO is lowering interest rates on almost all of its retail saving accounts by 0.10% with effect from 30 April 2015. The interest rate on the most popular savings account, “Vermogens Spaarrekening” is being reduced from 1.35% to 1.25%. Another example: the interest rate on the account “Direct Sparen” will be reduced from 1.00% to 0.9%. All customers have been informed accordingly.

The reduction follows from the continuing decline in interest rates on money and capital markets.
