The third annual survey of mobile apps for banking has put ABN AMRO in eighth place, making it the only Dutch bank in the global Top Ten. Carried out by MyPrivateBanking Research, this annual survey of mobile apps from retail banks praised the personalised features, innovative add-ons and intuitive ease of use of ABN AMRO's mobile apps.
Our mobile apps scored particularly highly on the many ways in which users are able to personalise their apps. Our applications are described as highly accessible, with researchers citing the different images and icons used to make a clear distinction between different types of payment. A number of innovative add-ons – Rekening Delen for people splitting the bill, for instance – were highly appreciated, and our apps also received the highest possible scores for technical functions and support, primarily for their search functions and intuitive ease of use.

Jessica Niewierra, ABN AMRO’s Director of Internet & Mobile, commented: "We’re extremely proud of making it to the world’s Top Ten, as we want to provide our customers with the very best possible service. In the past month alone, our customers used our mobile banking app over 42 million times, and we keep doing everything we can to enhance and improve our apps."
