ABN AMRO nominates Daniel Hartert as Supervisory Board member, succeeding Arjen Dorland

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is pleased to announce the nomination of Daniel Hartert to its Supervisory Board for a four-year term, succeeding Arjen Dorland, who will step down after Daniel’s appointment. The nomination is subject to the approval of the European Central Bank. The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) will be held on 11 September 2025. The convocation for the EGM including the agenda will be made available on www.abnamro.com/generalmeeting.

Daniel Hartert (Germany, 1958) brings over 25 years of leadership experience as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) across the healthcare, consumer electronics, media and semiconductor industries, in regions such as Germany, the Netherlands and the USA. His career highlights include serving as CIO at Bertelsmann AG, CIO of the Philips Group, CEO of Philips Imaging Systems and CIO of Bayer AG. Additionally, he was a supervisory board member at Nagel Group SE.

Currently, Daniel advises executive boards on strategic, operational and technical matters, leveraging his vast network across Europe, Asia and the Americas. He holds advisory roles at Capgemini SE and Netskope Inc. Daniel holds a Master's in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Following Daniel’s appointment, the ABN AMRO Supervisory Board will consist of Tom de Swaan (Chair), Michiel Lap, Sarah Russell, Mariken Tannemaat, Laetitia Griffith, Femke de Vries and Daniel Hartert.
