Creating equal opportunities for children: thousands of your colleagues are doing their bit!
- Social impact
It’s quite possibly the bank’s best-kept secret: through ABN AMRO Foundation, thousands of bank staff are volunteering to promote equal opportunities for children in the Netherlands. It’s a “second job” they do alongside their normal work at the bank.
Want to do voluntary work on office time?
At ABN AMRO, we do everything we can to encourage voluntary work; as a bank employee, you’re even entitled to free days off to volunteer. Why? Because, as a bank, we take social engagement seriously and help our employees make a difference in the lives of others through voluntary work. That’s why social engagement is one of our brand values.
From reading tutor to cultural guide: hundreds of initiatives to choose from
This year marks ABN AMRO Foundation’s twentieth anniversary – the perfect time to showcase all our special social initiatives and colleague volunteers. Initiatives range from taking a primary school class on a visit to a museum to teaching a financial literacy course. Indeed, our volunteers are involved in hundreds of social activities. Their commitment and enthusiasm are invaluable to these children.
Ambassador campaign
Today hundereds of staff volunteering through ABN AMRO Foundation are adding the voluntary work they do as a “second job” to their LinkedIn profiles and online CVs. This initiative will help us reach thousands of people. It’s the starting point of an ambassador campaign we’re launching today.
