The coronavirus crisis is having a short-lived but drastic effect on the Dutch economy. No sector has been left untouched by the virus, according to ABN AMRO’s economic forecasts. The podcast series ‘Sector Advisory Soundbites’ takes a closer look.

“But instead of calling the government-imposed measures a recession, you could call them an investment in our chances of survival,” says Sandra Phlippen, Chief Economist at ABN AMRO’s Group Economics, in the podcast. She discusses this view with Sander van Wijk, Head of Sector Advisory at ABN AMRO, with Jimmy Lange adeptly moderating the discussion. Listen to the podcast (in Dutch) for insights to apply to your own business.
