From now on ABN AMRO offers interested parties the opportunity to check in time whether the pension accrual is going as expected. The bank introduces the online Pension Check, which provides insight into the accrued pension. If the desired pension accrual is lower than expected, this can be anticipated at an early stage.

Removingambiguities With the Pension Check, ABN AMRO tries to eliminate potential ambiguities about the pension. Our own customer research showed that the concerns about pensions are increasing sharply. Whereas in June only 38% of customers said they were concerned about this theme, now it is 48%. This makes the pension the financial subject that customers are most concerned about. A significant proportion of the Dutch population (69 percent) is also unaware of their pension income. The online Pension Check puts an end to this.

Indication of pension accrualThe client can answer seven questions in five minutes, after which an indication of the pension accrual immediately follows. It immediately becomes clear whether this is in line with the desired construction. In addition, the Pension Check makes it clear what additional amount is needed to achieve the desired accrual.

'Determine yourself'Arno IJssels, Director of Marketing Individuals at ABN AMRO: "Convenience, speed and individual customer wishes are central to the Pension Check. The customer is given the opportunity to determine an acceptable standard of income after retirement for him. set higher or lower than the standard norm of 70 percent of the last earned salary. "
