Today, ABN AMRO Spain celebrates the transfer of its representative office to a branch in Marbella. For this, the bank was newly registered with the Banco de EspaƱa as a branch in December of last year.

Jeroen Rijpkema, CEO of ABN AMRO Private Banking International, commented: ‘This is an important step forward in our pursuit to sustainably strengthen our World Citizen Services in Spain. Having a branch enables us to better service our clients’.

Kurt Looyens, Country Executive Spain since September 2015 said: ‘We have been successfully present in Spain for over 30 years. It is an important location for our global private banking clients who have a residence in Spain. We can now welcome them into our branch in Marbella instead of having to refer them to our colleagues in other countries in Europe’.

At the celebration 200 guests were present.
