ABN AMRO allows companies to manage multiple payment services from a single online dashboard through EMS.

Since March last year, companies have been able to make use of multiple payment services under a single contract. With the new ABN AMRO and EMS payment solution, these multiple payment services can now be managed from a single dashboard. As a result, companies always have real-time insight into the separate and combined cash flows of both online sales channels and brick-and-mortar stores. The dashboard shows how much revenue they have generated at any specific time of day: online, in-store and combined.

Further increase in number of payment services

More than 450 different payment services are available worldwide, of which 14 are widely used in the Netherlands. About 75% of all transactions in the Netherlands go through the seven most popular payment services. Berend Dinkla, Product Development Director for ABN AMRO Commercial Banking: “With the arrival of PSDII on 1 January 2018, the number of payment services is set to rise even further. The new ABN AMRO and EMS payment solution means we can continue offering companies transparent and easy-to-use payment services in this changing playing field.”

Meeting consumer requirements

Consumers have diverse purchasing and payment preferences, so companies must be able to offer a range of payment options. Bart Damstra, General Manager of EMS: “It’s convenient and easy for companies to arrange this with a single party who can facilitate all widely used payment methods, both in-store and on the web. We have developed this dashboard so that clients always have real-time insight into their combined payment flows.”

Partnership

EMS is the provider of this payment solution, which was developed for SMEs as well as large corporates, operating in both national and international markets. The dashboard will be made available to SMEs from January and to large corporates later this year. EMS, a joint venture of ABN AMRO and First Data, has been a specialist in payment solutions in Europe for more than 25 years. EMS offers in-store terminals as well as all relevant local payment methods for online shops, such as iDEAL and Bancontact.
