ABN AMRO again a frontrunner in digital transformation

News item -

ABN AMRO has once again demonstrated its position as a frontrunner in digital transformation among large Dutch companies. This was the outcome of the second annual survey held by Vlerick Business School and Dutch financial daily Het Financieele Dagblad (FD), published this past weekend.

Rather than set up list of ratings like they had last year, Vlerick and FD chose to name only the ten companies emerging from their survey as making most progress in digital transformation. Last year, when a list of ratings was published, ABN AMRO came out as frontrunner among the 200 largest Dutch companies..

Just like last year, Michel van Drie (Managing Director IT Solutions) and Frank Verkerk (Chief Digital Officer) took part in the survey conducted by Vlerick Business School and FD. In their response to yet another excellent achievement, they particularly wanted to thank their teams: “We were honoured to attend the award dinner and accept the award on behalf of the bank, but most of all, we have our colleagues to thank. Divided into some 350 agile teams, they’ve been working very hard every day to improve our existing services and to develop cool new things for our clients by actively involving clients.”
