ABN AMRO awarded Green Bond lead manager of the year

At the Environmental Finance award ceremony on 28 March, ABN AMRO won first prize in the category “Green Bond Awards 2018 Lead Manager of the Year – category banks”.

The panel of judges was made up of bond investors from all over the world. “ABN AMRO’s consistent commitment to the green bond market helped it secure this year’s award for lead manager of the year for bonds issued by banks”, according to the judges.

Joop Hessels, responsible for green, social and sustainability bonds at ABN AMRO: “This is an acknowledgement of the strong position ABN AMRO has built up in green bond services for clients in Northwest Europe like Swedbank, SEB, Hypo Vorarlberg, Barclays, LBBW and Deutsche Hyp.”
