ABN AMRO was voted ‘Top Borrower in EMEA’ by group two lenders during the International Securities Finance (ISF) Survey Awards 2018 in London on 19 September. In addition, ABN AMRO was also highly commended by group one lenders globally, across EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

This annual survey, conducted by Global Investor/ISF magazine, is a clear recognition of the Securities Finance team‘s strong and consistent performance over the past year.

At the ceremony, Jasper Dikker Hupkes, Head of Global Markets and Securities Finance in the UK, received the award on behalf of ABN AMRO. He said: “We are delighted to be recognised in the ISF Survey yet again and once more being acknowledged by our market peer group is testament to our continued focus and performance. This survey is a long-established benchmark for the Securities Finance industry and therefore it is a real honour to consistently be so highly commended.

“We would like to thank our clients who trust us to deliver and provide a high quality service and a wide range of securities finance solutions.”

The ISF Survey 2018, now in its 20th year, aims to measure performance and the quality of the service provided by counterparties. Borrowers and lenders are asked to name and rank their top counterparties in strict anonymity, against a range of categories for each region. The survey showcases excellence in the Securities Finance industry and highlights the leading firms around the world.
