Duin & Kruidberg country estate sold to Hoscom

News item -

Today, ABN AMRO and Hoscom signed an agreement about the sale of the Duin & Kruidberg country estate.

Obviously, running a hotel is not a core business for ABN AMRO. Hoscom, a specialist in the hotel business, will safeguard Duin & Kruidberg’s identity and will offer additional opportunities for Duin & Kruidberg to continue its direction of travel as a member of a hotel group.

Bernard Lensink, General Manager of Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg, comments: “We’re proud to have been part of ABN AMRO for a long time and saying goodbye to the bank is not easy. However, we fully support this move and look forward to further developing our country estate under Hoscom’s wing as one of this country’s superior hotels.”

Duin & Kruidberg consists of a hotel, 2 restaurants, meeting & event facilities and a spa & wellness. Restaurant ‘De Vrienden van Jacob’ has been awarded a Michelin star. Hoscom develops and runs hotels with their own individual identity and theme.

The sale of Duin & Kruidberg will not have any material impact on ABN AMRO’s profit and loss account.
