Alongside our climate approach, we aim to support efforts to halt and reverse biodiversity loss by engaging with business clients in the agriculture & food and transport sectors. By offering financial products to our clients, we help them grow their businesses, which can also affect biodiversity. Our biodiversity approach focuses on reducing the negative impact of client activities.
Nature Statement
Our is informed by the Kunming Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and sets out the principles guiding the bank’s actions on nature. The goal of the framework is to stop and reverse nature loss. Our main focus in this effort is to create a better dialogue with our clients about biodiversity.
