As the principal sponsor of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, we have been involved in Dutch tennis for many years. Legendary tennis players such as Richard Krajicek and Esther Vergeer have been working as ambassadors of our talents programme for some time. Together with the bank, they help people make the transition from being talented amateurs to working as pros.
ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament (WTT)
Since the first tournament took place in 1974, we have been involved in the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament at the Ahoy centre in Rotterdam. Ours is the longest running sponsor relationship within the ATP Tour. Over the years, the WTT tournament has grown into the largest indoor tennis event in the world. ABN AMRO organises a wide range of activities for visitors of the tournament, and also receives over 16,000 clients as guests.

The WWTT has been fully integrated in the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, both of which are held in Ahoy, Rotterdam, each year. The international wheelchair tournament will showcase the world’s best wheelchair tennis players: all top-12 players will be competing for the singles and doubles titles.
