Sixteen of the largest field hockey clubs in the Netherlands introduced contactless payment at their clubs after the winter break. Contactless payment is the ideal way for sports associations to receive small payments swiftly, securely and easily: it is a good alternative to cash payments and it is carried out much more quickly.
Clinic with Jeroen Hertzberger
The field hockey club that records the steepest rise in the number of contactless payments between the winter and summer breaks will win a hockey clinic with international player Jeroen Hertzberger and a press conference for its youth teams. These young people will have the opportunity to ask Jeroen Hertzberger in person how the Dutch national field hockey team performed at the Olympic Games in Rio. The clubs with the highest monthly rise in contactless payments will receive a new set of training material for their youth teams.
Contactless payment efficient, secure and easy
ABN AMRO promotes the use of contactless payment because it is a secure, easy and fast payment method. As a partner of field hockey in the Netherlands, the bank supported these sports clubs in installing the required payment terminals.
