For the 15th consecutive year, Euromoney has chosen ABN AMRO MeesPierson as the Best Private Bank in the Netherlands. Every year, Euromoney awards prizes to the best private banks and asset managers worldwide. The prize was presented in London on Thursday, 21 February 2019.

ABN AMRO MeesPierson rates highly for its services, claiming the top spot in 7 categories. For example, ABN AMRO MeesPierson climbed from the 4th to the 1st place for International Clients. The bank was also ranked highest for Philanthropic Advice, Technology and High Net Worth Clients.

ABN AMRO MeesPierson also moved up the rankings for ESG/Social Impact Investing, from 3rd place to 2nd. ABN AMRO MeesPierson’s sustainable investments focus not only on returns but also on how investments impact society. The bank considers investments in companies that lead the way in seeking and maintaining a balance between people, the environment and society.

Choy van der Hooft-Cheong, Managing Director of Private Banking Netherlands, comments, “We’re back in the top spot. That’s an amazing achievement, and one that we have every right to be very proud of, given that we overhauled our organisation last year. Other private banks and asset managers rate our overall service (sales, products and specialists) as the best in the market. This recognition by the market highlights that the course we’ve chosen is the right one.”
