Goede Doelen Nederland and ABN AMRO MeesPierson are renewing their strategic partnership. The private bank and the Dutch association representing the country’s key charities have been working together since the summer of 2012, and now their cooperation will be extended by at least another two years. The purpose of the collaboration is to offer efficient payment facilities to the charities. Additionally, the bank supports the association and its members with strategic issues and positioning.
Marianne Verhaar-Strijbos is in charge of relationship management for institutions and charities at ABN AMRO. She sees the partnership as a major step forward in efficiency: “The cooperation with Goede Doelen Nederland enables us to further optimise our support for charities. In addition to offering efficient payment methods, we can also provide advice in other matters, such as sustainable asset management and innovation. Our input is driven by the charity's objectives and the activities needed to realise them. So we do more than facilitate - we offer advice as well.”
Gosse Bosma, Director of Goede Doelen Nederland, is pleased with the renewal of the partnership: “ABN AMRO MeesPierson's support of us and our members is comprehensive and unique; it goes far beyond facilitating payments. In the direct future, one of our focus areas will be the development of innovative solutions, which will help our members realise their social objectives. Contactless collection is one application we have in mind.”
