ABN AMRO included in FTSE4Good Index

Rating and research agency FTSE4Good has, following the June 2016 review, added ABN AMRO to the FTSE4Good Index. Upon its entry to the index ABN AMRO becomes one of the top 15% banks worldwide on the list.

Caroline Princen, Member of the Managing Board ABN AMRO: ‘We are proud that our sustainable banking efforts have been rewarded with a position in the FTSE4Good Index Series. As a new entrant to the index, we landed in the best 15% of the banking industry, which includes over 130 banks worldwide’.

FTSE4Good assesses the sustainability of banks around the globe in terms of their environmental policies, social policies and governance. ABN AMRO wants to be a better bank contributing to a better world; a sustainable, transparent bank. External, independent research like that of FTSE4Good helps the bank measure its efforts in this field.
