On 16 November 2018 ABN AMRO announced it had reached an agreement to sell part of its stake in the investment funds of ABN AMRO Participaties (AAP) to a consortium led by Alpinvest, and including LGT Capital Partners, Five Arrows Secondary Opportunities (FASO) and Bregal. The transaction closed today, which means that AAP will now continue independently as Capital A.
ABN AMRO remains involved through its (minority) investment in the funds of Capital A.
